Chinese Internet users are calling on consumers to boycott Carrefour, the French retail giant they accuse of supporting pro-Tibetan independence groups.

Chinese people were urged through text messages and online chat rooms not to buy goods from Carrefour outlets from May 1, with posts accusing the company of supporting funding for the Dalai Lama.

可以清晰的感受到，几天前，当火炬在巴黎传递受到骚扰破坏后，一部分法国人、法国政客和法国主流媒体都很亢奋，他们像又到圆明园抢、烧了一回一样兴奋得手舞足蹈，不能自抑。然而，快乐总是短暂的。

如果我记忆没错的话，就在不久前，也是中国和德国冷淡之后，法国的那位小个子总统刚在中国带走了上百亿欧元的大订单，然而，可惜的是，法国政客和媒体没有为中国的付出给予足够的友情，他们继续敌视、羞辱中国，并以此为病态的“胜利”快感，露出八国联军时期的狰狞。对于奥运圣火传递在巴黎的遭遇，法国《费加罗报》的头版头条标题为《火炬在巴黎惨败》，而《解放报》的头版头条干脆以《给中国一记耳光》为题，用一种近乎幸灾乐祸的口吻描述中国的“溃败”，字里行间，透着歇斯底里般的狂喜。

好像是4月14号，我在网络上看到一条新闻，大意是法国商界很担心中法经贸受此次事件影响，并拟派3个商界代表团继续到中国淘金。这些人丝毫不为他们的国家和政府对中国和中国人民造成伤害的感到愧疚，他们时刻关心的是还能在中国人兜里掏走多少钱。

法国，这个所谓的文明之国；巴黎，所谓的时尚、浪漫之都，用最丑陋、卑鄙、粗暴的行为挑衅中国的忍耐，伤害中国人的感情。… 继续

法国外长2008年3月18日谈及抵制北京奥运开幕式，同时法国总统3月25日扬言杯葛北京开幕仪式。2008年3月28日，德国总理决定不参加北京奥运会。由虚伪的法国政客带起的这种潮流很可能会带来不少的跟随者。
